Dumb Switch就是最簡單的
只有Learning, Filtering跟Forwarding的功能
沒有Management
一般沒有做Console Port的都是Dumb Switch

Smart Switch就會有其他如QoS, Port Mirroring, Trunking...等功能

Intelligent Switch除了Smart Switch該有的功能外
還會有Spanning Tree以及所有的module可替換

而HUB只有Listening and Forwarding的功能
Managemant的HUB還會多SNMP功能
但是一定不會Learning和Filtering

Windows ARP command : C:\Documents and Settings\Alan>arp /? Displays and modifies the IP-to-Physical address translation tables used by address resolution protocol (ARP). ARP -s inet_addr eth_addr [if_addr] ARP -d inet_addr [if_addr] ARP -a [inet_addr] [-N if_addr] -a Displays current ARP entries by interrogating the current protocol data. If inet_addr is specified, the IP and Physical addresses for only the specified computer are displayed.
